Online retail is highly competitive, B2B and B2C platforms are not particularly different and this issue also affects Krannich. Effective online marketing is essential to counter the strong competition. With a focus on data, online marketing measures must be developed, prioritized and reviewed.

E-commerce tracking is an indispensable tool for any online retailer who wants to improve their performance. It provides valuable insights into user behaviour and allows optimization measures to be carried out based on real data. We use Google Analytics to track the purchasing behavior of users on the Krannich website. This allows us to track and analyze transaction data, sales and other relevant information. The technical implementation works via the Google Tag Manager.

Optimization of the user experience

Thanks to the design and implementation of an e-commerce data layer, we can also carry out a detailed analysis of user behavior and gain valuable data for improving the user experience and ultimately conversion rates. The use of the new Google Analytics 4 (GA4) also enables extended functions and improved data collection, allowing for more in-depth analyses.

In addition to setting up tracking, the continuous evaluation and analysis of e-commerce performance is crucial. We use tools such as Google Looker Studio for Krannich to create detailed reports and prepare data visually.

For efficient data management, it makes sense to create a data pipeline for transferring GA4 data to the cloud, for example Microsoft Azure. This enables secure and organized storage of the data and facilitates access for future analyses.

We are also working closely with Krannich on general questions relating to digital analytics and e-commerce.

We supported the SEO relaunch of Krannich Solar AG's online store in close coordination with our sister agency MOSAIQ. Together with the developers, we are implementing the optimizations and can thus ensure that the online store is optimally positioned right from the start.

The SEO support began before the relaunch and is still ongoing. A pre-go-live check was essential, as this was the only way to ensure that everything was ready for a successful conversion. After the go-live, we continued our measures to continuously optimize and sustainably expand the visibility and relevance of the online store.
